FOUR MILE WALK FOR MOORFIELDS EYE HOSPITAL - SUNDAY, 8TH MARCH 2020

We are proud supporters of Moorfields Eye Hospital because of the really terrific treatment one of us has received whilst visiting Moorfields for a common complaint - dry eye syndrome.....not life-threatening, but very painful.  Being around Moorfields, we realised what an absolutely amazing  asset Moorfields is for the community  and a supreme example of our beloved NHS -  that must be supported.   

Your contribution will help The Digital Clinical Laboratory  meet the needs of the future and keep Moorfields Eye Hospital at the forefront of eye care. It will allow more self-monitoring, diagnoses in the community and prevention.   It has the potential to:

•   give patients the information, resources and contacts they need to take charge of their care
•   provide timely and pro-active interventions
•  genuinely coordinate care reducing the time people need to spend in a hospital setting
• use innovative artificial intelligence approaches, leading to increasingly personalised treatment plans and freeing up consultant time for the most complex patients

It's wonderful that you can read this!  Hopefully you will never need to take advantage of Moorfields Eye Hospital, but rest assured, if you do you will be in world-class hands!
